Step back into the Shire and spend four unforgettable days living as a Hobbit of Middle-earth at The Brandywine Festival — a fully immersive, primitive camping LARP that brings Tolkien-inspired life to the green hills and lantern-lit lanes of The Shire. As a participant, you’ll join hundreds of others in co-creating the world of Middle-earth, from bustling marketplaces to cozy camps, music-filled taverns, and the festival’s heart: the grand celebrations along the Brandywine River.

 

Your ticket includes:

🌿 Three Days of In-Character Festival & LARP — an evolving, player-driven story set in the heart of the Shire. Music, Dance, Story, and Community!

🏕️ Two Days of Early Arrival & Setup (Starting Sept 29) — featuring NEW Tenting workshops, community building, and preparations for the days ahead.

🎭 Access to Pre-Event Workshops (Starting Sept 30) — learn the dances of The Shire, build your character’s story, and prepare your hobbit gear alongside fellow travelers, and learn the Ins and Outs of LARP through a set of NEW Guided Workshops.

Please Note:

• This is a primitive camping event — all attendees camp on-site and are responsible for their own tenting, gear, and meals.
• Food and drink are not provided, though many players bring camp kitchens or share meals within their groups.
• The Brandywine Festival is BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage). Please enjoy responsibly, in the spirit of good company and good cheer.
